In this video I show you how to perform 3 simple tests which will allow you to decide which weapon is best for you.

Want to see if your FAMAS has better DPS than your FAL? Is 50% critical hit chance better than 60% if you can get your critical hit damage a lot higher on the former? Why do some weapons just FEEL better than others, and are they worth using? ALL will be answered within!

1.DPS formula - (RPM / 60) x Total Damage number
a) FAL @ 650 RPM with 110.9k total damage: 650 / 60 = 10.83. Multiple by 110.9k to get your per second damage without buffs

2. Total mag damage formula (for checking different CHC/D levels or talents/brand sets) .
Find out how many bullets can crit vs can't (Step a):
a) Mag size x 0.CHC number (FAL @ 60% CHC would be 40 x 0.60 = 24, leaving 16 remaining bullets as non-crits)
b) Check your crit and non crit damage vs an armored range target/DZ player:
FAL crits @ 532k and base was 203k
c) Multiply crit damage number by bullets that can crit based on your own CHC (and the same for non-crits):
(24 bullets x 532k) + (16 bullets x 203k) = TOTAL MAG DAMAGE
