Why there is No Crime in Singapore? Global Kannadiga

Singapore is known for its strict laws and unique forms of punishment. Caning and the death penalty are two notable examples.  

Caning is a form of corporal punishment involving the use of a rattan cane to inflict strokes on the buttocks. It is used for a range of offenses, including vandalism, drug trafficking, and rioting. While controversial, caning remains a part of Singapore's legal system, with proponents arguing it acts as a strong deterrent.  

Capital punishment is also enforced in Singapore for serious crimes like murder, drug trafficking, and terrorism. Executions are carried out by hanging, and the country has a strong record of upholding the death penalty. This practice has drawn criticism from international human rights organizations, who argue it is a cruel and unusual punishment.
