The Aldeburgh Carnival and fireworks draw people form the entire area and is also part of the London calendar. It seems to mark the end of the summer and the beginning of Autumn. Thousands of Lanterns are lit and meet on the Beach near the Moot Hall to watch the Firework display. Summer 2024 Carnival floats and marching bands fill the High Street along with thousands of visitors for all over the country. They all converge on this small seaside town in Suffolk which, until 60 years ago was a small collection of fisherman's cottages.
