Let’s IMPROVE your HANDSTANDS! Optional gymnast, Kailee, and I have 5 exercises that we’ll show you, each playing a really important part in learning and mastering the handstand hold.

These 5 drills go from “beginner” to “advanced” in difficulty level, so no matter where you are in your gymnastics journey, you’ll have plenty to practice!

We cover each of the following in-depth, breaking down how each should be practiced:

1. “T” Levers holding a foam pit overhead (You can use anything, doesn’t have to be foam!)
2. Donkey kicks up to a wall
3. Box handstand with single leg lifts
4. Shoulders to box handstand
5. Low bar supported handstand
