Surfliner and Coaster action at Sorrento Valley Station - 07-27-2019

Went down to Sorrento Valley Station to railfan for about 4 hours with SoCalTrainFan. We saw a lot of action, and even saw the special 9 car train for the Del Mar horse races. Turns out that SoCalTrainFan was waiting on a miliary train that was supposedly going to go to San Diego, but that didn't happen and I found out later in the day that it was actually coming from San Diego. SoCalTrainFan was railfanning with me until Surfliner train #583.

I was using my Tripod again, and this time I was also using my new radio scanner. But I will need to get a longer range antenna for it, since I was only able to hear trains clearly within about 3 miles of my location.
