Robbie is a nationally and internationally board-certified Orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon. He is double fellowship trained in Sydney, Australia and Toronto, Canada. Robbie was awarded the BOFAS Gold
The focus of his research is based around elective and trauma foot and ankle surgery. He has published the longest follow up RCT of 1st MTP replacement vs fusion and has submitted the largest series of MIS bunion corrections in the literatre to the JBJSam. His RCT on forefoot offloading shoes won the BOFAS poster prize in 2018 and he has received a number of research grants.
Clinically Robbie’s work focusses on elective foot and ankle surgery, specialist foot and ankle trauma and general lower limb trauma. His NHS practice was initially as a Consultant at the world renowned St George’s Hospital major trauma centre. He had now moved his NHS practice to King’s College Hospital Foundation Trust to develop and modernise the foot and ankle service at Orpington and the surrounding region.
