As a lateral entry candidate from +2/VHSE, the admitted candidate shall attend appropriate bridge
courses conducted by the respective colleges and earn a “pass” in the institution level examinations for
the courses in Engineering Graphics, Engineering Workshop Practice, Programme specific theory and
practical.
As a lateral entry candidate from 2-year courses of NCVT/SCVT/KGCE, admitted candidate shall
attend appropriate bridge courses conducted by the respective colleges and earn a “pass” in the
institution level examinations for the courses in Mathematics II, Applied Physics II and Programme
specific theory and practical.
As a lateral entry candidate from +2/VHSE or NCVT/SCVT/KGCE in Management stream
(Commercial Practice, Computer Application and Business Management and Hotel Management and
Catering Technology), the admitted candidate shall attend appropriate bridge courses conducted by the
respective colleges and earn a “pass” in the institution level examinations for the courses which will be
informed in due course.
Each institution shall conduct appropriate bridge courses as specified above by providing additional
classes to the lateral entry students during morning/ evening/ Saturdays (online/contact classes). The
students shall earn a “pass” in the institution level examinations in such courses for the award of
Diploma.
