Aquaculture for Science Axolotl Biology Research

Scientific Aquaculture is defined as the use of human cultivation of an aquatic organism for the advancement of knowledge. UC Davis aquaculture visits the laboratory of Dr. Crystal Rogers at the University of California Davis. We discuss aquaculture for science of axolotls in fish tanks in a recirculating aquaculture system. Axolotls are studied to understand evolution and developmental biology research. We also discuss the role of the lab for Conservation Aquaculture.
