Xenoblade Chronicle 2 - How to Solo Rex with Mythra and any Blade -- Post game

kindly read. A simple guide. Nothing fancy or heavy grinding.

Frequent ask questions:

1. How are you using arts frequently
A: Mythra lightspeed fury ability that refresh arts CD upon critical
hit. One of the Axe art have this ability too. (you can use Zenobia
if you want)

2.How do you hit so hard
A: world tree drop accessory

3. Can i do this with other drivers
A: yes use basic concept, incoming huge attack, use i-frame or iron
wall

4. Can you do this with Mythra alone without any other blade?
A:Yes, just abuse I-frame from blade art IV, blade combo
(light--light--light) or chain attack

5: When can i start solo-ing
A: As soon as you can enter Temperantia and kill most of those lv
50 monster

6.Why is your Auto-Attack so high
A: Build up trust from D rank to S+ rank

7.Ultimate Def or Element Absorb AUX.
Iron wall will 100% guarantee block. If the attack have that specific element, it will absorb all of it and recover your hp. Eg Nether fire is fire damage, equip fire absorb and it will heal you instead. Ultimate AUX will negate any kind of attack at 50% chance upon blocking, including Falak Buster. (will not block debuff like Doom though).

8. Which one is better Poppi or Mythra?
QTπ does most damage because of her customization and ability to have skill slot that are exclusive to accessories or rare blade battle skills eg. Critical heal or avenger V, Challenger V, pinpoint weakness V etc. (you cant find this on AUX)
Monolith also went overboard with Poppi. If you consider Skill slot something like AUX, Poppi gain access to 6 slot in total.
Given how Poppi can have critical heal on herself instead of Avant Garde, she is just pure broken.
No other blade can ever achieve her dps unless monolith decided to expand AUX slot to at least 4 for each blade.

However Mythra can still deal huge damage on her own.
Max damage per hit is 999k. If you can roll 300-400k rolling smash non stop, it will eventually deal more than a character that have to AA for arts. Mythra also have Dots (around 50-60k/per second which adds up to the damage). However that is also something nearly impossible to achieved early battle. Most battle end up before you managed to maximize Mythra.

QTpie with some tweaking is able to achieve 250%+ bonus the moment she reaches affinity max. This is not including Tora accessories and critical damage multiplier from pinpoint and optical headband.
The only way Monolith can make her DPS as strong as QTpie is by sharing Pyra/Mythra AUX slot = 4. Rex do gain both weapon bonus stats...but sadly not AUX slot.

if you want to maximize DPS , Poppi QT requires tons of investment. At max, you can kill that LV 130 with a party with just single earth elemental orb burst.

So its up to you to make your character / party OP or not.

Burst Symbol+ Critical Symbol = just remove chain attack pls...this game is too easy.

Ursula+overclock bangle in party...Nia you can just retire...
