Students at UNSW Sydney are working to design, build and run the world’s first student-led fusion energy reactor. Fusion energy is widely considered the "holy grail" of clean energy, and it’s closer than you think.

The tokamak device is currently being designed and built by undergraduate students, under supervision of some of UNSW's leading academics and professionals.
