The August 2025 feature drop (KB5064081, OS build 26100.5074) is now available to devices on Windows 11 version 24H2, and has several new features to check out. The September Patch Tuesday (KB5065426 - OS build 26100.6584) expands the gradual rollout to all users.

Windows Hello has been modernized with a fresh look for its visuals and some improvements. The notification center can now show a big clock with seconds like in Windows 10, and File Explorer has some quality of life improvements too. In Settings, a bunch of time & language options have been migrated from Control Panel. Recall has a new Home page and layout, Click to Do has a new tutorial, Copilot now has Smart mode with GPT-5, Snipping Tool screen recording has a window mode, and much more.

This update, or newer, is required to properly update to version 25H2.
