The Vertibird is a twin-engine, VTOL aircraft with a heavily armored fuselage. It utilizes a unique bug-like canopy that allows the pilot (left) and co-pilot/navigator (right) sitting side by side to see as much as possible while in flight. All gauges in the cockpit are mechanical with the exception of the Vertical Display Indicator which uses a CRT screen (located on the pilot side). It can be outfitted with a variety of offensive weapons and defensive countermeasures, the most common being Gatling lasers, missile racks, and a mini nuke bay.
