There are three arctic biomes located within Sector Zero. The Arctic Spires biome, the Glacial Bay and the Glacial Basin. At first, it may seem odd that the Ice Worm Leviathan, an extremely aggressive leviathan-class organism that is capable of burrowing beneath the ice and ambushing its prey, only resides within the Arctic Spires biome, feeding off of the scarce supply of Snow Stalkers within that region. If we look at the Glacial Basin and Glacial Bay biomes, which have many sources of food for the Ice Worm, including a large population of Snow Stalkers, at first, it may not make sense that Ice Worms don’t live within these regions as well. Why wouldn’t these creatures venture into the Glacial Bay and Glacial Basin biomes? These biomes are teaming with life! Well, the answer is simple, but also kind of complicated...
