Ingredients

• Ragi – 200 gram
• Barley – 200 gram
• Almonds/Badam – 15 nos
• Saffron – few strings
• nut meg powder – 2 tsp
• Cardamom - 10 nos
• sugar - 1/4 cup

Method

1. Soak ragi in water at least 4 hours. Drain the
water completely and allow sprouting it for 8 hours.

2. After 8 hours open it and dry it in sun for one day.

3. Heat a pan and dry roast the sprouted ragi/ sprouted finger millet in medium flame until nice aroma comes. It may take 5 minutes. Shift to the plate.

4. Dry roast the barley in medium flame until nice aroma comes. It may take 3 minutes. Shift to the same plate.

5. Dry roast the almonds in medium flame until turn to golden colour. Shift to the plate.

6. Dry roast the cardamom in medium flame until nice aroma comes. It may take 2 minutes. Shift to the plate.

7. Dry roast the nut Meg until nice aroma comes out. It may take 2 minutes. Shift to the plate.

8. Allow to cool completely.

9. Once cooled shift to mixer jar and grind it to coarse powder.

10. Then add sugar and saffron strings.

11. again grind it to smooth powder.

12. Allow to cool completely.

13. Our ragi malt powder is ready to use.

14. Store in an air tight container. it will good for 2 months

15. Use whenever you want as required with hot milk.

16. Drink hot or chilled.
