3. Lithium is a piece for two voices, percussion, cello, synthesiser and tape which addresses the problematics of the excessive publicity of our times. The title of the piece refers to the chemical element Lithium, the main component used for rechargeable batteries for smartphones and laptops, the devices we use for both working and entertainment.
