Black River & Western #60 - Spring Steam Excursions

Описание к видео Black River & Western #60 - Spring Steam Excursions

In late Spring of 2013, Penn Rail Videos was in Hunderton County, NJ looking for some steam action. The Black River & Western would provide us with this steam action, in the form of their 1937 ALCO-built 2-8-0 #60. This stocky Consolidation type is still in her "Great Western Railway" dress-up, with the aluminum-painted smoke box, white running boards and white-wall tires from a Pete Lerro charter earlier in the season. Penn Rail Videos was unable to attend that Lerro charter, but we still wanted to see the engine painted into it's "retro" scheme. In this video, we'll follow #60 as it makes a roundtrip between Ringoes and Flemington, NJ along the former Pennsylvania Railroad trackage. And how fitting, on this day she was wearing a PRR 3-chime passenger whistle. Sit back, and enjoy some Spring steam action on the Black River & Western!
