He was instrumental in the research work that led to the use of local sand (rather than imported sand) in our water purification plants and more.

This is a man who strongly believes African scholarship must solve real problems in society. Even now as a nonagenarian, he shares pointed ideas about how to tackle Galamsey in a multifaceted way.

In this wide ranging interview, our Sage traces his roots from Mfantsipim College to how he became a world-class scholar and respected international public servant.

A former pro-vice chancellor of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, he shares much of its history from his lived experience. He believes academic progress must be based on high quality scholastic output.

Professor Wright is a champion of innovation and shares ideas on how to promote this critical pillar of development.
