Can a magnet truly orbit another magnet?
Action Lab once demonstrated that magnetic orbits are impossible due to the 1/r³ force law and magnetic dipole instability. But after over 1500 hands-on experiments, I managed to achieve several near-complete orbits, including two close to 360 degrees, and many ranging between 180–340°.
