Frederique Constant - History of the Brand with President Peter Stas

Today on MONOCHROME, we start a series of videos focusing on accessible luxury brand, Frederique Constant. Created 30 years ago by Peter and Aletta Stas, the brand has gained international recognition by manufacturing nice and elegant watches, with interesting complications and luxurious appeal, for a reasonable price. Frederique Constant is also now a proper manufacture, capable of producing its own in-house movements in its recently Geneva-based manufacture, ranging from time-only automatic watches, to the signature open-heart pieces or the ultra-complex but still accessible tourbillon perpetual calendar.

To start this series, we'll talk to founder and president of Frederique Constant, Mister Peter Stas, about the history of the brand and how his wife and he managed in such short time to create an influent Geneva-based brand.
