Included in the exhibition are wearable reproductions of the Bodyshells, a series of wearable sculptures. First used in a performance by the artist and her family at Venice Beach in California in 1972, the works were reproduced here and are once again activated every Wednesdays and Saturdays, 3 PM at MCAD unless otherwise indicated.

Heidi Bucher: And Pull Yesterday into Today

“Heidi Bucher: And Pull Yesterday into Today”, a selection of works from the estate of Swiss artist Heidi Bucher (1926–1993), is ongoing until 18 August 2024. Included in the exhibition are wearable reproductions of the Body Wrappings. Reproductions of another work, Bodyshells, are activated every Wednesdays and Saturdays, 3 pm at MCAD unless otherwise indicated. The Bodyshells were first used in a performance by the artist and her family at Venice Beach in California in 1972.

The exhibition is part of the Benilde Open Design + Art, a grants-giving project that supports design and art ideas towards their production, in celebration of the 35th year of De La Salle College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB). The special presentation of the grant projects around the campus ran until the end of June 2024.
