MASSIVE Urban Search And Rescue Response To Crane Collapse - London Fire Brigade Responding

Specialist firefighters were involved in a multi-agency operation to safely recover the body of a woman who sadly died at a crane collapse at a construction site in Bow. The crane collapsed onto a site where flats are being constructed and crashed onto two adjacent houses. Urban Search and Rescue crews undertook a complex rescue operation and used specialist equipment to search the properties. Sadly one woman died at the scene. The London Ambulance Service have confirmed that two people were taken to hospital with head injuries and a further two were treated at the scene.
