How to Assemble a DPS 3rd Gen Compound Turbo Kit on a Cummins Engine

Описание к видео How to Assemble a DPS 3rd Gen Compound Turbo Kit on a Cummins Engine

This how to video is a quick overview of an assembly of a DPS 3rd gen Compound Turbo kit (a.k.a., Twins) on Cummins engine block.

**This kit is designed to go on a 3rd gen Common Rail Cummins Engine; however, for this video we installed the kit on a 24 valve Cummins engine block.

This video is a general overview of the steps and not intended to be installation instructions. Installation on a engine in a truck does vary a little and requires the installer to closely follow the instructions.

Our DPS Compounds give your truck useable horse power by decreasing EGT's to a level that you will no longer have to regulate your temps by taking your foot off of the pedal!

Diesel Power Source compounds significantly reduce EGT's (300-400 degrees) and increases horse power approx. 25%.

Boost pressure will typically exceed drive pressure, which can't normally be done with a single turbocharger (with a single turbo, drive pressure is typically about double boost pressure).
Horsepower, and torque are increased throughout the entire RPM band, and significantly increased in mid and upper range.

Our compound turbo kits are designed on CAD Software, using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) Testing. Arguably the most high tech kit on the market. Designed to fits like it was built from the factory.
