Techignite is NTU College of Engineering’s very first virtual engineering festival where we take participants on a 2-month experiential journey to uncover the marvels of engineering! The theme for this year is Sustainability where our speakers will showcase how various industries incorporate sustainable elements in creating strategic solutions for the future!

In this Speaker Series by Mr Foo Yang Kwang, Senior Vice President and Chief Engineer of Singapore District Cooling in SP Group, Mr Foo shares his journey behind the scene of Singapore’s busiest work and travel district where the world’s largest fully underground district cooling network is hidden. Listed as one of Singapore’s Top 50 Engineering Feats, the Marina Bay district cooling system now serves more than 20 developments in the area, helping them save more than 40 per cent in energy consumption, where the energy saved could power 24,000 three-room Housing and Development Board units!
