“WHITEWATER” - Sprint Chipper w/ Heavy Snatches (under 10 min)

Описание к видео “WHITEWATER” - Sprint Chipper w/ Heavy Snatches (under 10 min)

Time: 9:27 (scaled with 135 lb on the barbell).

This is a spicy little sprint chipper. I say “sprint” but I definitely wasn’t sprinting those last 10 snatches…even at a very scaled load of 135 lb.

40 cals on the Echo bike took me about 2:40. (That’s about 40 seconds longer than 40 cals took on my old Airdyne. Not all air bikes are equal!)

Deadlifts I broke up into two sets of 15 to give myself a chance to mix up my grip. I wondered if unbroken would’ve been the way to go at this load.

Burpees with the jump to target were pretty slow. And I missed the target a couple of times, which forced a couple of extra unnecessary jumps.

Even though I scaled the barbell load the 135 lb, which isn’t a super heavy snatch for me, after all the posterior fatigue — these snatches were definitely not automatic!

The first 3 reps, each felt progressively heavier than the last…then I missed the 4th rep. I re-focused and hit the next 6 reps ok. All singles…def no cycling today!

I liked this workout. Bookmarked! 🔖
