Under the directions of Elden Seta, Rhona Barbosa and Grant Otomo, The 2003 Moanalua High School "Na Menehune" Marching Band and Color Guard is proud to present their 2003 Program, "The Final Frontier: Tribute To Space Travel" The 2nd piece is a tribute to Hawaii's own, Ellison Onizuka, an astronaut aboard the Space Shuttle, "Challenger" which was destroyed one minute and 13 seconds after its launch. Ellison made the ultimate sacrifice and lost his life in service to the nation and the space program on January 28, 1986 at 39 years of age.
