Telling time - quarter till and quarter past (3rd grade math)

Описание к видео Telling time - quarter till and quarter past (3rd grade math)

Learn about quarter hours, and how to use the phrases "a quarter till" and "a quarter past" a certain hour. Since one hour is 60 minutes, if you divide the clock face to four parts, you can easily see that a quarter (one fourth) is 15 minutes. So, for example, "quarter till 11" means 15 minutes till 11 (or 10:45) and a "quarter past 3" means 15 past 3. We practice this concept in various ways in this lesson.
