Winter on the CSX Rochester Sub

Описание к видео Winter on the CSX Rochester Sub

CSX's Rochester Sub is a subsection of the former New York Central Water Level Route between Chicago and Albany. This is one of the few remaining sections of the line that still has former NYC style signals in tact, thought their new replacements were already put in place during our visit. During a weekend outing to the Rochester area in December 2013, I was able to document quite an interesting array of traffic that uses this line, despite the weather. Power on this line varies quite often, though not seen very much in this video. We will follow the line from Brighton, NY, just outside downtown, to East Palmyra. You'll see manifest, stack trains, oil and Amtrak in everything from sunny skies to cold and raw rain. So sit back and enjoy CSX action along the former New York Central.

Enjoy, subscribe and thanks for watching!!
