In today’s video I have a Void Warlock build for you that builds around the recently buffed and severely underrated Handheld Supernova special grenade and shows you how to properly optimize the uptime on it!

I was always a fan of Handheld Supernova, but in truth it never saw much use since it was a little underwhelming, but thankfully with the release of The Final Shape came a much needed buff to it that actually makes it pretty good now! As with most Void Warlock builds, today we focus on Contraverse Hold as our Exotic of choice, since when fully charged we basically get our entire supernova back, and after that, all we need is a couple kills with Devour active to fully recharge it, and then the cycle continues. Strangely, Ex Diris also synergizes quite nicely with setup since specifically this season the Artifact Perk “Shieldcrush” makes it so being Amplified enhances the damage and regeneration rate of our grenade by 25%, and coincidentally, the catalyst for Ex Diris allows any kill with it to make you Amplified, so you might be able to see where this is going!
