GINATAANG LANGKA with SHRIMP is a quick and easy dish rich. The coconut milk on this dish infuses a delicious flavor combined with the shrimp and jackfruit makes this dish so delightful. So quick and easy to make. Easy recipe to satisfy your cravings! Happy Pinoy Simple Cooking!

Here is how to make GINATAANG LANGKA with SHRIMP:
GINATAANG LANGKA with SHRIMP :

Ingredients:
2 cans (20 oz) young green jackfruit, drained and chopped
1 lb shrimp, cleaned and deveined,
1 large onion, chopped
1 thumb ginger, chopped
7 cloves garlic, minced
2 medium green chilies, sliced
2 cups coconut milk
1 tbsp shrimp paste
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp salt, divided
1/2 tsp pepper, divided

Directions:
1. In a large wok or pan, heat oil over medium high heat. Add onion, cook until translucent.
2. Add ginger and garlic. Cook until lightly browned.
3. Add the jackfruit. and shrimp paste. Stir until all jackfruit is completed covered with shrimp paste. Add salt and pepper. Stir until well combined.
4. Add coconut milk. Cover with lid and let it simmer over medium heat for 10 mins or until tender. Stir occassionally.
5. Add the shrimp, cover with lid and let it simmer until it turns pink.
6. Stir to cook the other side of shrimp. Add the green chilies and fish sauce.
7. Continue to simmer for 3 mins.
8. Serve and Enjoy! Best served with steamed rice.
