Sprouting your own wheat and make a healthier bread out of it!

Sprouted wheat is known to contain higher nutrients with plenty of benefits to our body. In this video I will share how to sprout the wheat berries, and how to use it in our bread. Sprouted wheat sourdough is not just healthier, with the addition of sprouted grains in the dough, it taste more delicious with a tad of sweetness and better mouth feel.

Dough
240g high protein flour (bread flour)
60g Wholewheat flour/ sprouted wheat flour
220g water
60g sourdough starter
6g salt
40g sprouted wheat berries

Sprouting wheat
50g wheat berries
200g water

*hydration adjust accordingly to flour used
