Hello guys, today I want to talk about how lightning arrow (and attack based skills in general) scales its damage.

This can be considered as a guide, tutorial, analysis, etc

I'm going to walk you through the basics of how damage is calculated in path of exile and then we are going to see an example of a lightning arrow build and we are going to analyze step by step where the damage comes from.

The motivation comes from the scenario where one gets stuck in yellow/red maps, and we don't know how to progress. Understanding how the damage scales in our build will help us a lot to smooth our progression because we are going to know what missing, what to craft, what to buy, etc.
