Our Best Days | Weekend Trip to Cebu

It was a four day weekend and we had previously made plans with the families of Marco and Jim Bo to take a trip to Cebu City for a short vacation and it was one of the best weekends we've had in a while.

JT and I arrived in Cebu City a day early and we spent the afternoon with Marco and Thrina shopping and having halo halo at Sol's. And then later in the evening they treated us at one of the fine chinese restaurants that they know. Jim, Erika and their family arrived early morning the next day and we all headed out due South of Cebu after a sumptuous breakfast at the Escano's. Lunch was lechon in Carcar City and then we had a short stop for refreshments at the Milk Station along the way to Badian. We all arrived in Lambug beach and took the long awaited sea time with the kids before we had a huge seafood and barbecue dinner by the beach and some drinks. The next day, we hired a boat to attempt to dive with the sardines and swim with the sea turtles, we all had a grand time, including the kids. We checked out of the resort by noon and headed back to Cebu City where we ended the day with Marco and Thrina at the Nu Star Hotel while the group of Jim and Erika celebrated Uncle Bart's birthday at the Radisson Blu hotel. The last leg of this trip was to see the jungle animals at the Cebu Safari and Adventure Park. I don't know who enjoyed it more, the kids or the adults?
