Green's Functions | Chapter 3 Differential Equations

Описание к видео Green's Functions | Chapter 3 Differential Equations

Green's functions are the function space analogs of the matrix inverse. They act like the inverse of a differential operator for specific boundary conditions. That means that we can use them to solve inhomogeneous boundary value problems with just one fundamental solution. The method of images enables us to leverage Green's functions to solve problems with inhomogeneous boundaries as well.
