Sapphire Princess and US Coast Guard rescue of Wilderness Discoverer cruise ship that was stranded in Glacier Bay, Alaska on June 5, 2023. All passengers and most of the crew were safely evacuated onto the Sapphire Princess and later transferred to another boat for further transport. Sapphire Princess remained on scene while the Coast Guard arranged for tow of the stranded vessel. Majestic Princess also arrived during the operation on its way through Glacier Bay.
