Rashmi Closepet, the co-founder and creative director of Itsy Bitsy- one of the largest arts and crafts retail supply chain, shares her journey of trials and tribulations on the road to establishing a business with purpose. Empowering women and inspiring countless others in line, she talks about the essence of business beyond just the factor of numbers. Rashmi Closepet was instrumental in bringing the culture of scrapbooking and cardmaking to India by launching one of the biggest arts and crafts stores - Itsy Bitsy. She is a homeopathy doctor, whose passion for design helped create employment opportunities for hundreds of women from rural areas. As the CEO and MD of Itsy Bitsy, she handles the retail business and is partnered by Harish Closepet, her husband. Together they aim for a sustainable way to spread the arts and crafts culture in the country.
