Highlights from WGA's 2023 Winter Meeting

The Western Governors’ Association 2023 Winter Meeting, hosted by
Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon in beautiful Jackson Hole, convened seven
Western Governors to discuss critical issues facing the region and develop bipartisan policies to address these challenges.

Governor Gordon, the Chair of WGA, was joined by WGA’s Vice Chair, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham, as well as Idaho Governor Brad Little, Colorado Governor Jared Polis, Utah Governor Spencer Cox,
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, and Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo.

The three-day meeting featured panel discussions on carbon capture, utilization, and storage technology; wildland fire mitigation; agricultural innovation; National Park management; rural behavioral health care; housing;
the missing and murdered indigenous persons crisis; wildlife migration corridors; and infrastructure permitting.
