Today I dropped into Luddesdown in Kent to visit the 11th century church of Dode.

I was lucky enough to meet Colin the key holder who was present, and who as well as granting me permission to fly, also showed me around inside the church. I was amazed at how thick the church walls were, about 3 feet!

Colin was well educated in the history of the area and of the church, I was blown away by the things he explained to me.
