 overview of what we accomplish on a do it yourself mission to save some money. The cost to replace your timing belt from a local authorized auto repair shop was $1175. Timing belt and water pump.
The starter was $380,  5 new coil packs, $325 five new spark plugs, new battery, CV joint, five new injectors, radiator flush and oil change. The cost from a dealer was obscene up over four grand. We did the whole job  for the cost of the parts. The timing belt alone was only $146. 
Saved over 3+ thousand dollars but doing it ourselves wasn’t that hard just took a long time.
