"Inventing Bitcoin" by Yan Pritzker (Book Review)

Описание к видео "Inventing Bitcoin" by Yan Pritzker (Book Review)

One of the clearest explanations of bitcoin I have read, Yan Pritzker, in his debut book, "Inventing Bitcoin" walks the reader through the thought process, design principles, and trade-offs of bitcoin. Or as Yan puts it, "tickle your brain and give [the reader] a taste of computer science and game theory that makes bitcoin interesting and profound."

In 83 short pages, Yan outlines the asset, network, and software client that is Bitcoin. Yan has a gift for explaining complex topics in a way that is digestible and easily understood. I recommend this book for anyone who is learning about bitcoin for the first time, as well as those who have been in the ecosystem for a while. Yan fills in a lot of the gaps in understanding that one might have left over from Andreas Antonopoulos' "Mastering Bitcoin." In particular, Yan's explanation of the mathematics and mining securing bitcoin were some of the most useful aspects of this page-turner.

I get the feeling that during the next bull-run I will be gifting this book often.
