Right now he is 37, and most probably he is going to retire after end of next season. Sterbik has ruled handball courts since 20 years ago. Many of you do not remember him at his beginings. He played for Serbia and Montenegro national team before he took spanish passport.
Sterbik style is product of all Yugoslavian goalkeeper school, be patient, wait and save. What makes him amazing is such big body and outstanding reflexes. He can raise his legs above the head and I'm always amazed to see him jump on the ball regardless of his height and weight.

As I said he is going to end his career in Vardar. There were some rumors about his transfer to Pick Szeged, but it turned out not to be truth. This video is a short footage about his saves from Vardar's period.
