DIY Mackenzie Child's Courtly Check Inspired Checkered Pumpkin

In this video I show you how to create the look of Mackenzie Childs checkered pattern on a pumpkin. These are such a great addition to your fall decor. I'm so in love with this checkered pattern that I just want to Makenzie everything. See below for list of supplies that I used and a link to easily go to that item to buy.

The supplies that I use are:

1. A faux pumpkin
2. Painters Tape
3. White Primer Spray Paint:
4. Pencil
5. Black Liquid Paint Marker
6. Acrylic Paint:
Black
Titanium White
Gold
Yellow Ochre
Naples Yellow
7. Paintbrush preferably one that is square and almost the size of the squares you will be painting:

TIPS:
Before starting the pumpkin project you will want to clean your pumpkin of any dirt or dust prior to spray painting.
If you are going to paint the stem do it last so that you can hold onto it throughout the process.
If you will be putting your pumpkin outdoors for your decor spray paint it with a good clear Matte or Flat Enamel when finished. This will protect it from the weather elements.
