The Metro North and CT Rail Iceberg Explained!

Based on the success of the Long Island Railroad Iceberg, I’ve received several requests to make an iceberg video on the LIRR’s sister railroad next, Metro North. Although, fearing that I wouldn’t know enough information on Metro North alone due to a generally shorter history and not as many resources when compared to the LIRR, I decided to combine various facts of every northeast commuter railroad into a single iceberg. But as I kept adding more information over the months, the final product was estimated to be about four hours long, and after further consideration, I decided that there was enough information to fulfil an entire iceberg on the Metro North and CT Rail alone, hence the purpose of this video. Also included in this iceberg are entries that include the MTA during the time in between their formation in 1966 and the official formation of Metro North in 1983 in order to include some more interesting topics that otherwise would have been excluded.
