sailboat repair - Anti siphon valve replacement

In this series of Sailboat repair videos, I replace the Vetus Anti siphon valve. A leaking anti-siphon valve will over spray water & (Salt in salt water environment) into your engine compartment & at worse case scenario will short your starter or flood your engine. The valve is one of the overlooked things in many boats that must be checked regularly.

Ahoy! my name is Amory, in 2018 I made a bold decision in hindsight, it was a risky decision to take, but I had nothing to loose, I was in my 40s' feeling emotionally dissatisfied with my life in the city, supported by a long list of relationships failures; yet I managed to have successful business career. By society standards, I had "the stuff" needed to be happy, but yet the cold cloud of discontent continues to hover over my life in the city. I knew I wanted to travel, see the world. But how? hotels, airplanes & cars; sounds hectic & without a home it felt unrooted. in 2018 I left Toronto & bought a sailboat in Florida, of course I never had sailed a single day in my life so the the learning curve was steep.
I quickly became obsessed with the idea of sailing, and sharing my experiences and lifestyle through my sailing videos with others.

I document & create videos powered by an intrinsic wish to inspire & motivate other humans by introducing people to this alternative lifestyle.
