Hi all! I hope you have enjoyed/are enjoying this trip report.

We started off our day at BHX, which, let’s just say, was CHAOTIC! As soon as we arrived at the TUI Check-in area, we didn’t quite know where to queue from, as there was just a swarm of people standing around. After asking for some assistance, we eventually found the end of the queue. Furthermore, when past security, it took us a good 20 minutes to find a place to sit as the airport was packed. When we managed to find a seat, I noticed the large number of people just standing around without anywhere to sit. Birmingham airport is far too small and cannot cater to the needs of the many passengers that come in and out of it every day. An expansion is necessary!

Finally, we boarded. After a long wait on the hot and crowded airport bus, we started our drive to the aircraft. Boarding took around 30 minutes, as the airport bus had to go back to the terminal to collect more passengers, and a passenger with mobility issues had to get onboard.

We pushed back and taxied to Runway 33, before taking off and turning left towards the North Sea. After flying over the Netherlands, Germany (where there was severe turbulence), Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, we eventually touched down, 5 hours and 1 minute later, at Sharm El-Sheikh’s Runway 4L!

For the most part of it, the flight was pleasant, however at times you begin to wonder if TUI are doing all they can for a 5 hour flight on such a cramped aircraft!
