Lok Mela 2025 was held at Lok Virsa, Islamabad from 7th to 16th November 2025, celebrating the rich cultural diversity of Pakistan and bringing together folk traditions from all regions of the country under one roof. The festival showcased the true spirit of Pakistan through traditional music, folk dances, regional cuisines, handicrafts, and live cultural performances.

Artisans, performers, and cultural groups from across the provinces participated in the mela, presenting centuries-old traditions, crafts, and customs to thousands of visitors. From soulful folk music and energetic dances to colorful stalls displaying handmade crafts and indigenous foods, Lok Mela 2025 offered an immersive cultural experience for people of all ages.

Organized by Lok Virsa (National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage), the festival aims to preserve, promote, and celebrate Pakistan’s intangible cultural heritage while providing a platform for artisans and performers to connect directly with the public.
