Medical tourism is increasingly becoming an alternate option to public health facilities in the country. Citizens are fed up with the poor service delivery and ill-equipped facilities that is the norm in most public hospitals. This continual citizen’s movements aided the high rates of brain drain in the country because both patients and doctors are leaving the country, the private health sector is the alternative but then it cannot stand alone, the government ought to intervene and also relax stringent rules on medical advertisement.
