Boo the German Shepherd has returned to active duty for the San Diego sector of the US Border Patrol after battling the effects of a rattlesnake bite. The incident occurred on May 9, when Boo was tracking a group that crossed the border illegally. The two-year-old dog received antivenin, as well as lots of rest and head pats.
