Program Overview:
• 9-week, part-time virtual program starting January 26th, 2025
• Designed for those with tech backgrounds or healthcare experience who want to innovate in digital health
• No prior healthcare experience required, but comfort with data/technology is helpful

Curriculum Breakdown:
• Week 1: Overview of U.S. healthcare system, health IT landscape, and business incentives/alignment
• Weeks 2-3: Hands-on work with healthcare data standards like HL7 and FHIR, data integration
• Weeks 4-6: Exploring healthcare economics, payment models, quality measures, population health analytics
• Weeks 7-8: Addressing digital health equity and social determinants of health
• Week 9: Professional skills, stakeholder collaboration, and requirements gathering

Certification Prep:
• Program aligned to prepare students for the HIMSS-CAHIMS certification exam

Internships & Job Placement:
• Opportunities for internships, projects, and job placement support
