Analogman King of Tone - Snake Oil or Not?

For my Presets visit: https://johnnathancordy.gumroad.com/ So yesterday I did a little video playing around with a King of Tone for the first time. I was a little surprised to see a couple of people accusing it of being "Snake Oil" or overpriced etc. Admittedly, if you buy one second hand, then yes, there are probably a few smarter ways to spend your money.

The Wampler Pantheon or the JHS Morning Glory don't really seem to fit the bill for a couple of reasons - they're in the same ballpark price wise, and are now SMT made , and in any case are only a single BB type circuit, surely the main factor of the King of Tone is the tonal options you get by having two BB circuits in a box and the option to stack?

Actual alternatives I've found include the Snouse Blackbox Duo, King of Clone - which others do I need to know about?
