Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Says Kursk Operation Aims To Create Buffer Zone| India Today

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday announced plans to create a "buffer zone" in Russia's Kursk region.

"Our primary task in defensive operations overall - to destroy as much Russian war potential as possible and conduct maximum counteroffensive actions," he said in a nightly address.

"This includes creating a buffer zone on the aggressor's territory, our operation in the Kursk region," he added.

Zelenskyy also spoke about Ukraine's need for faster delivery of supplies from allies and thanked Ukraine's military personnel for their service.
